A more deliberate import

Small mistakes. Store-wide consequences.

An included blank and an omitted column can have different effects. A changed option value can replace a variant identity. Review the change, keep your original export, then test a small import.

A few useful answers

Does Elyxu connect to my store?

No. Files are processed in browser memory. Nothing is imported, changed, or sent to Shopify.

Can this guarantee an import is safe?

No. It is a file comparison, not a Shopify import simulator. Store state, apps, inventory locations, metafield validity, image reachability, and every import rule are outside its scope. Image continuation rows are flagged but not compared as variants.

Why is a missing product only a note?

Leaving a product out of an update file does not mean Shopify will delete it. An incomplete baseline can also make an existing item look new.

What should I do with the report?

Resolve ambiguous rows, confirm intended blanks, keep your backup, and test a small import. The downloaded CSV is a review report, not a product import file.
